Where does Aahaar deliver?+
We currently deliver across all of Berlin — every postcode from 10xxx to 14xxx is covered. Our delivery days are Wednesday and Saturday. We're working on expanding to more German cities. If you're outside Berlin, you can register on our website and we'll notify you when we reach your area.
How much does delivery cost?+
Delivery is free on orders of €40 or more. For orders under €40, we charge a €4.99 delivery fee. There is no minimum order value — you can place orders of any size.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our payment partner Stripe. Payment is processed securely and encrypted at checkout.
What products does Aahaar offer?+
Our catalogue includes over 100 Indian grocery products across 13 categories: rice and grains, flour and atta, dals and pulses, spices and masalas, oils and ghee, pickles and chutneys, snacks and namkeen, beverages, sweets, sauces, noodles, frozen foods, and beauty and household items. We stock trusted brands like Daawat, Aashirvaad, Priya, Bambino and many more.
Can I cancel my order?+
Yes, as long as your order still has 'pending' status, you can cancel it directly from your account. Once the order has been processed, please contact us at hello@aahaar.de for cancellation.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?+
Yes, all displayed prices include the statutory 7% VAT for food products (§12 Abs. 2 Nr. 1 UStG). What you see is what you pay.
Who is behind Aahaar?+
Aahaar was founded by two Indian expats who have lived in Germany for over 12 years. We're part of the community we serve — we cook with the same products we sell. Our company Kothagudem K&B UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is registered at Amtsgericht Berlin-Charlottenburg (HRB 280498 B).
Are the products halal?+
Our catalogue consists mainly of vegetarian products such as spices, rice, dal, flour and snacks. For specific halal certifications on individual products, please contact us at hello@aahaar.de — we're happy to help.

Does Aahaar display unit prices (PAngV)?+
Yes, we display the unit price per kilogram or litre for all products in accordance with the German Price Indication Regulation (PAngV). This allows you to compare prices transparently.
Can I request products that aren't in your catalogue yet?+
Absolutely! If there's a product you're missing, just drop us an email at hello@aahaar.de. We'll do our best to find the right suppliers and source it for you. Many of our catalogue additions come directly from customer requests.
